I am passionate about graphic design. With 12 years in the profession, I have acquired the skills necessary to produce attractive, high-quality marketing pieces at an efficient pace.

I take pride in offering clean, professional design to help produce a brand image with impact. I keep in mind two of the most important graphic design factors in a successful marketing plan — CONSISTENCY and a DISTINCTIVE DESIGN STYLE.

CONSISTENCY provides recognition when your target audience sees the marketing pieces across all media. A DISTINCTIVE DESIGN STYLE allows your business and/or service to stand out above the competition.

PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND:
I earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Journalism with an Advertising emphasis from South Dakota State University.

Through the encouragement of family and friends, I began my graphic design business, Kreative ONE Design, in January of 2000.

In addition to Kreative ONE Design, I am the Art Director at The Brookings Register, (www.brookingsregister.com) a daily newspaper in eastern South Dakota. I have been at the Register for nearly 10 years and truly love my position there. I thrive on the fast-paced, deadline-driven environment of the publishing industry.

My occupations in the ever-advancing creative field have offered me the resources to keep up on the newest software and the latest design trends. I enjoy the opportunity to be creative and I have met many wonderful people.
